Labor Day Weekend is coming up and, for runners, that often means it’s time to transition to faster workouts of half-marathon and marathon training or fall trail running season. For a lot of us, it also means it’s the ideal time to buy new running shoes after racking up so many miles this summer in a pair we bought last spring. Fortunately, it’s also when a lot of great shoes can be found at close-out prices.
I’ve combed through the myriad of shoes on sale this weekend and hand-picked several models would be great for long runs, trails runs, easy runs, and speed workouts. Here’s a solid collection of shoes to choose from as you ramp up your fall training. Each of these quality shoes has been drastically reduced for one weekend only.
